Ingredients

  • 6-8 apples
  • 1/2 Cup melted butter
  • Cinnamon & sugar
  • 1/2 cup quick cooking oats
  • 1/2 Cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 Cup flour

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350° F

Peel and slice all the apples into a large bowl. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and stir occasionally to bring out the juices in the apples. You may use more or less cinnamon and sugar depending on your preference.

Pour the apples into a clear glass baking dish. Drizzle about half the butter over the apples.

In a medium sized bowl, mix together oats, brown sugar and flour. Pour remaining butter in and mix. The oats should start clumping, add more butter if mixture is dry.

Pour mixture over apples and spread evenly to cover. Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the apples appear to be bubbling.

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
